This is Nurin Jazlin, 8 years old, who has been reported missing since 20 August 2007. She was last seen going to a night market near her home in Setapak.
I have a daughter who is six now. My wife and I experienced a brief moment of anxiety and fear when our daughter, Cheryl, went missing for about 2 minutes in a supermarket some time ago. Though it was only for 2 mins, it was hell.
We can feel and understand the pain Nurin's parents and her loved ones must be undergoing now, our prayers go out for the safe and quick return of Nurin.
Nurin's uncle has set up a blog to monitor the progress of the search and at the same time enlist the help of as many as possible for any information that may assist to locate Nurin.
